About me

I am Lilith, a passionate advocate for positive change in the world. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations combining legal, economic and social studies on an interdisciplinary level, from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the Josef Korbel School of International Relations, alongside a Jazz Voice Certificate at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver.

My dedication to making a difference goes beyond academia. Since 2014, I have been actively involved as a volunteer with the WWF, contributing to essential research in sustainability, with a particular focus on electric mobility. Additionally, I have played an integral role in shaping and nurturing the WWF youth council.

As a sustainability coach within network n, I have the privilege of traveling across Germany to guide various universities in implementing sustainable practices since 2019. My commitment to environmental awareness dates back to my school days, during which I analyzed and successfully reduced the CO2-footprint of my school. I was awarded several prices within the Federal Environmental Competition of Germany and received the sustainable chemist price for new business innovations at Jugend gruendet (Youth Founds)

I firmly believe that every individual has the power to contribute to a more sustainable world. My approach centers on inspiration and motivation, rather than imposing restrictions. By combining my creativity with rigorous quantitative research and scientifically proven behavioral change strategies, I aspire to share valuable knowledge and offer actionable and concise ideas for positive transformation. Together, let us pave the way towards a better, greener future. Find out more about me and my projects on my webpage

My Motivation

My passion for both traveling and sustainable behavior has determined my life already for many years. More than 8 % of global carbon emissions are caused by the tourism industry. Traveling in all its facets, no matter if family holidays, business trips, or touring artists plays a crucial part in the lives of many people all over the world – and still, sustainability in the travel industry is something not a lot of people are aware of.

In 2019 I founded the initiative ChargeHolidays providing an App to more easily plan and book sustainable trips. Building on top of that, I want to invest more time in sharing my experience and knowledge in order to inform and educate people all over the world how much power they have to positively influence the travel sector.

What has for sure highly influenced my life and determined a lot of decisions later on, such as being an English teacher in China for 6 months, and studying abroad for my Master’s degree, are the travels I was privileged enough to conduct in early childhood. Hence, I am passionate about enabling all children to be able to have similar experiences, get to know different cultures, and at the same time, protect the planet. I hope that my engagement inspires children, youth, and educators and motivates all participants to change for the better.
